Look at the photos below of the trunk floor. Something was screwed into the floor there, and there are the two holes through the floor with rubber grommets. Does anyone know what was here, on the trunk floor, of this factory built rally car?

Jan 4, 2014 update: Lester suggested the photo below of a Baja car from page 91 of From Two Stroke to Turbo(!) may solve the trunk mystery. Can anyone confirm?
